LOCATION
The River's Edge Cafe Gardens are located in the
small town of Confluence, in south-western Pennsylvania, in a region
known as the Laurel Highlands. It is a mountainous
area, in the highest county in Pennsylvania (Somerset County). The
dominant features of our landscape are the mountains and the beautiful
Youghiogheny River, one of the most pristine and unspoiled rivers
in the eastern United States We are only one minute from the Great
Allegheny Passage, perhaps the longest bike trail in the world (300
miles), connecting Pittsburgh to Washington DC.
